HISTORY :
	It may have started operating as a colorum station on November 22, 1984, having not acquired a legal permit from the Marcos government, DZGN has always been an advocate of democracy, justice and freedom. Though maintained in a shoestring budget, DZGN stands as a monument to our belief in the broadcast media as the most powerful tool of evangelization. The first radio station to be computerized, DZGN is a true-blue contemporary hit radio, offering a well-balanced daily mix of hit music and the commitment to the noble task of proclaiming the Good News of God’s Love through its religious and public service programs. Determined to squarely face the challenges and competitive pressures in broadcasting today, on February 17, 2007, DZGN launched its newest programming format At 23, with eleven (11) very dedicated and competent staff, DZGN Spirit FM shall continue to tread the path of loving service and inspiration to the people of Sorsogon, shedding off the status of simply being “My Choice” to being “The Best” in the Land of Kasanggayahan.
